As of Spring of 2015 Rolling Ribbon Rabbitry no long will be raising or breeding rabbits. All of the stock has been sold to local reputable breeders in the midwest. I have received multiple emails regarding purchasing rabbits from me, to find great breeders in the midwest area please go to the "Links" tab. This site will remain up as I may begin breeding rhinelanders in years to come. Thank you and happy breeding!

About me:
A picture of me with my Jersey cow and Heifer
My name is Destiny Anhalt, I live in northern Dane County. At my rabbitry I raise Rhinelanders. I started raising rabbits back in 2004 when I got my first rabbit, a four year old Blue Polish Doe from a girl at the dodge county fair. After I got "Cynders" I was just in love with rabbits I had to have more. I soon got a Californian after I got her and I loved there temperament. After that still not knowing what breeds I wanted I went out and got a breeding pair of Mini Rex and oh was that an experience. It was my first time ever getting into the breeding world of rabbits. To come to find out she only had one which she decided would be a good idea to throw her out of the nest box and push her out of the cage, She wasn't a great mother. At my fair we had an ARBA breeds poster on the wall and I was looking over it and saw a Harlequin and I just fell in love with there pattern, but I didn't want magpies and I couldn't find anyone with Japanese, so I decided to move on. My dad always talked about the HUGE rabbits he raised when he was younger and that sure caught my attention. So I set out to find Flemish which I found pretty easily when I met Jason Swenson at the Misty Hills Show back in 2010 and he sold me "Buba" my first Flemish. That same year I was still on my quest for Harlequins and the Dodge County fair didn't fail me again, I met Ashlyn Nehls who sold me my first Harlequin "Zorra". Me and her just started a great friendship and started trading and borrowing rabbits. Summer of 2011 I bought my first Rhinelander a from Ashlyn, "Sundara" and I've been hooked ever since..
Behind the name of my Rabbitry:
I chose the name off my rabbitry "Rolling Ribbon Rabbitry" from the name of my families dairy farm which was "Rolling Ribbon Dairy". The Rolling Ribbon comes from the way we planted our fields, we did contour farming, which means we planted our crops in long narrow rows which went across the hillside. From a sky view it look like ribbons spread across the hills.
I am a member of:
ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association)
WSRBA (Wisconsin State Rabbit Breeders Association)
UMFGC (Upper Midwest Flemish Giant Club)
MRRC (Midwest Rhinelander Rabbit Club) (youth liaison)
NFFGRB (National Federation of Flemish Giant Rabbit Breeders)
RRCA (Rhinelander Rabbit Club of America)
Jr Superintendent of Columbia County Fair Rabbits
Deforest FFA
Special thanks to:
